Ready for the fair of Torremolinos

which can be enjoyed until the 30th of September for all residents and visitors to Torremolinos.
This traditional fair is held in the province of Málaga, in different locations where it is welcomed as the Archangel Michael patron. Originally the Fair was organized to commemorate the muscular archangel, a mighty angel warrior destined to defend the people of God against the devil.
The weekend will be filled with different sporting and cultural events, concerts and all kinds of live performances in the Auditorium, activities and games for children, street music, Rocío choirs and traditional dances accompanied by good food of local produce. Associations, clubs and other colorful characters will fill the streets of Torremolinos. Ready for the fair of Torremolinos
On Monday 29 September ( Saint Michaels’s Day ) is the main day of the Fair. At noon there is a mass in honor of San Miguel. During the afternoon Torremolinos the streets will be filled with the of the faithful in procession with the statue of the saint, accompanied by an act cheerful Wreath.
La Feria de San Miguel, patron of Torremolinos, takes place during the day in the center of the city and in the evening at the fairgrounds. With a program for the festivals loaded with surprises, horse shows, live bands, parades, local band, children’s theater, and tastings of typical Andalusian products … not to be missed!
