Mijas Tourist Day

On Wednesday September 17, starting at 12: 00h, Tourist Day will be held at Our Lady of Peña de Mijas plaza. This local festival has been held for more than ten years ago organized by the town council as a thank you to all visitors who pass through the town over their summer vacation.
The village of Mijas wants to close the summer season, taking advantage of the proximity of the World Tourism Day, with a big party in honor of all the tourists who can enjoy numerous activities, musical performances and sweet wine tastings terrain. Mijas Tourist Day.
The event, which has hosted hundreds of tourists in past editions, will this year with two flamenco: Table Jaleo Flamenco and Ballet Spanish Zambra.
On this special day, I could not miss a sweet wine to accompany the spectacle of our singers and dancers. During the event attendees can taste the famous sweet wine from the village of Competa, Malaga one of our best sweet wines, as they are shared among all present.
